Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce that Brent passed away unexpectedly due to complications from diabetes on August 22, 2017 at the age of 33.
Brent will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Judi, Dave and Debbie; his brothers Marc (Karolina), Joel (Angela) and Dorian (Ashley); his beloved nieces and nephews Avery, Xaidyn, Soryn, and Ottli; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Brent had the biggest smile and heart. He was known for his creative passions, most notably as a musician currently in the band Ground Level Falcons. He loved driving everything especially his LRT. His favourite childhood memories were of watching the Oilers from his family’s season’s tickets seats at Rexall. Brent bled orange and blue, even when times were hard. Brent could always be counted on to crack a joke; his quirky sense of humour will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, Edmonton South, 4820 Meridian St NW, Edmonton.
In honour of Brent’s work as a passionate advocate of the Insulin Pump Program in Alberta, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Diabetes Canada
