BRENDA LINSKI
(Nee BIRSTON)
January 17, 1952 – December 19, 2017
Peacefully at the age of 65 after a lengthy illness, Brenda was finally reunited with her beloved husband Nelson Linski. Mom passed away with her family by her side, at Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg Manitoba.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Nelson Linski, sister Janice Fitzgerald brothers Ken Birston and Nelson Birston.
She is survived by her beloved children, Wendi Linski (Tim), Shelley Linski: her grandchildren Ashley Glays, Melisa Sue (Anthony), Gregory (Jacqueline); the loves of her life her great grandchildren Nelson, Payton Linski and Malia Linski; her sisters Gail (Godfrey) Flurry, Sandra (George) Munroe, Joan (Dennis) Ducharme; brother Paul (Marleene) Birston; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Brenda was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba She loved spending time with family and friends. She especially loved talking with her sisters about her grandkids and great grandbabies. Mom never had a loss for words and always said what was on her mind. Due to her ailing health mom wasn’t physically able to do a lot of things she enjoyed doing, but she enjoyed taking drives to the country with her baby when she was able. You could always find mom’s door open to her family, she always listened with care and understanding and gave without a second thought, She also would lend a kick in the pants if you crossed her and most didn’t. With great conviction her last words were that we not fight and take care of one another..that’s it that’s all she wrote…let’s get this show started!
A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Nadine Birston officiating.
