Brenda Tummon
1932-2017
Brenda Tummon, 85, of K.E Spencer Memorial Home and formerly
Weldon, NB, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, April
8, 2017. Born in Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England, she was the
daughter of the late John and Annie (Bateman) Moore.
Brenda was a baker who worked in various bakeries in England,
but spent most of her Canadian career with the Superstore Bakery on
Main Street, Moncton. In addition to baking, she enjoyed knitting,
word search puzzles and reading.
Brenda will be sadly missed by her daughters, Julie Tummon
(Rick) of Weldon, Janette Tummon (Chris) of Berry Mills and Beverly
Tummon (Tim) of Moncton; sisters, May Cooper (Harry) and Norma Moore
all of Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, England; several nieces, and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband George Tummon (April 2015); brother, Arthur Moore and sisters,
Jean Harrison, Nancy Hudson and Betty Lilley.
Private family service will be held. A Sharing of
Memories to celebrate and honor Brenda’s life will be held
from Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00
pm.
