Blair Thidrickson
Unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, Blair peacefully passed away due to a brain aneurysm. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by Lydia. Also left to cherish his memory are his parents Franklin and Ida; brothers Murray, Gregory (Deb) and Craig (Elaine); daughters Abbey and Andrea; stepdaughter Jennifer and stepson Julien.
Blair had a passion for life and was a perfectionist. Not a day went by when he was not building surround-sound systems or working on a construction project, and there were many of them. He loved grain farming with his father and brothers, sledding throughout the Interlake in the winter months with friends, and travelling down south with Lydia. Blair was planning on retiring from the Prolific Group in Winnipeg where he worked for more than 20 years. He was looking forward to farming full-time. We would like to thank all the medical staff — Matlock first responders, Interlake paramedics, and nurses and doctors at Selkirk & District General Hospital and Health Sciences Centre.
In keeping with Blair’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and no service will be held.
