Obituary
The family and friends of Bil (William) bid farewell to his earthly presence on Thursday, August 18th.
Bil will be sorely missed by his wife, Bridget and their family: Jon and Jeff, Garrick and Kari, Duncan and Jamie; as well as grandchildren: Hannah, Mathew, Luke and Jacob; sister, Jeanette (Manny); three nieces; cousin, James; and his many friends also mourn the loss of this good man.
Bil was an exceptional drama and English teacher, drama troupe leader, language arts consultant and personnel officer for 42 years with Edmonton Public Schools. His leadership, dedication and mentorship inspired many others in his service to the district, provincial, national and international endeavours. Master of celebration and the honouring of traditions of family and seasonal holidays, Bil was the consummate decorator, baker, monarchist and lover of good red wines and food. His passion for and preservation of the English language was always present in his speech, writing and love of all literature, in particular that of the Bard.

No service at this time but a celebration to honour Bil’s memory will happen later this fall.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to a charity of one’s choice.
