Beulah Mae Lawson
1925-2017
Beulah M. Lawson, formerly of Longs Creek, NB, wife of the late
Charles A. Lawson passed away October 28, 2017 at Wauklehegan Manor,
McAdam, NB, her home for the past three years. Beulah was born at Lake
George, NB in 1925, a daughter of the late Lemuel and Frances
(Courtney) MacLean. She was a housewife but also employed at various
local business. Beulah loved her cottage (little playhouse) on Lake
George and spent many good times there with her family. She was a
member of the Ladies Auxiliary of McAdam Branch 7, Royal Canadian
Legion, the Lake George United Church and enjoyed her TOPS group.
She is survived by a son Roger Lawson (Brenda) grandson Greg
(Roxanna), great grandson Connor, grandson Robbie (Tricia), great
grandchildren, Dylan, Dakota and Charly, grandson Nick (Jesse), great
grandchildren, Morgan and Georgie; daughter Marilyn MacDonald (Lorne),
granddaughter, Rhonda (Wyatt), great granddaughters Denise and great
great granddaughter, Kassidy, granddaughter Amanda (Dave) and great
grandchildren, Aalyia and Logan, grandson Ivan (Crystal), great
grandchildren Tyson and Nick, grandson Vaughn and great grandchildren
Laura and Marcus, grandson Vern; daughter Leanne Price (Gurney),
grandson Joe (Mary), granddaughter Christy; a sister-in-law, Jean
Beach of Saskatchewan; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband Beulah was predeceased by an
infant son, Gordon Ellis, a sister Phyllis Grass and brother-in-law
John Grass.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral
service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 31, 2017
at 2 p.m with Alice Finnamore, Prince William Pastoral Charge
officiating. A Ladies Auxiliary service will be held during the
funeral. A reception will follow at the funeral home. Interment will
be at the Magundy Sand Bank Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Nick Lawson, Joe Price, Wyatt Dutcher
and nephews Steven Cliff, John Cliff and Marty Sprott.
Beulah’s family wishes to thank all the wonderful staff at
Wauklehegan Manor for all their care and kindness not only to Mom but
to the family.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Beulah the family
has suggested Wauklehegan Manor Activities Department or the Magundy
Sand Bank Cemetery.
