TOSSELL, Betty Doreen (nee Stanley)
(April 6, 1924 – March 28, 2017)
Surrounded by the love of family, Betty passed away peacefully following a brief illness. She took her final journey to join the love of her life Bill and to once again hold her first granddaughter Andrea. Betty was a kind and charitable lady, who endeared herself to many. She will always be remembered for her delicious baking and hosting of family dinners. She loved to walk daily around Burlington, where she grew up and lived for most of her life She is survived by her children Brenda (Ted) Brouwers and Robert (Rosemarie) Tossell, by her precious grandchildren Aaron (Leah), Mark (Meghan), Amanda (John), Nicholas, Eric (Avery) and Daniel and also by her great-grandchildren William, Elijah, Ava and a fourth on the way. She is also remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Thanks to 3 East at Joseph Brant Hospital for their wonderful, compassionate care. A special mention to Dr. Dzaja, Dr. Hack and nurses Peggy, Clysen, Val, Rebecca and Natalia for the kindness shown to us all at this difficult time.
