It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Betty on January 20, 2016 at the age of 83 years. Betty is now re-united with her dear brother Norman Nicol. Loving wife of Ewen. Cherished mother of Ramsay and Mary Pine, Hector and his wife Shawn, Ken, Holly Wardlow, and Shona Bourguignon and her husband Bill. Loving Grandmother of Chris (Erica), Scott , Alison(Sandy), Gillian, Shelbi(Mike), Logan and Megan. Great-Grandmother of Dani-Lyn, Leighton, Brody and Zoey. Cherished sister of Henry(Sheila) Nicol(Scotland). Her love of golf and gardening provided her with many valued friendships. Betty will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends in Canada and Scotland. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home “Brampton” Chapel, (289 Main Street North) on Friday January 29, 2016 from 4 – 8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (44 Church Street East, Brampton) on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 2 PM, Betty’s ashes will be laid to rest at a later date. In loving memory of Betty, Donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church “Food Bank” would be appreciated by the family.
