Betty was born in Elkhorn, Manitoba on October 6, 1936. She met Glen McClure and moved to Saskatoon to marry in February 1954 and then started their family a year later. Betty worked at The Saskatoon Co-op which she retired from after 36 years service. In her early years she enjoyed dancing, having sing-a-longs, watching many ball games following the Baldwinettes Ball Team, and entertaining many friends and family in their home.
After Glen`s passing she was lucky to meet and marry Bill in 1992. They spent their leisure time hooking rugs, meeting up with their friends at the Army and Navy Club, and travelling to Phoenix in the winter. After Bill passed away she spent many hours watching curling, cheering on the Riders and Hilltops and knitting.
The Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Hillcrest Funeral Home, (East on 8th Street, first right past Briargate Road) followed by interment of Betty`s ashes in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
