Bernadette Chavarie
Bernadette Chavarie, 70, of Notre-Dame, passed away
peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on
Friday, October 7, 2016. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the
late Edgar and Doris (Allain) LeBlanc.
Bernadette was a retired hairstylist and attended
Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed
music, singing, shopping, bowling, darts, watching TV, her flower
gardens and spending time with her family. Bernadette and
Guy enjoyed spending their winters in Florida and had just celebrated
50 years of marriage this past July.
Bernadette will be sadly missed by her husband, Guy J.
Chavarie; daughter, Nicolle Theriault and son, Claude Chavarie
(Jeanine), both of Moncton; grandchildren, Scott, Emilie,
Céleste and Eric; sister, Anne Marie Caissie and brothers,
Alfred LeBlanc (Regina) and Normand LeBlanc (Nicole), all of Moncton;
several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Also by her
special friends, Rose-Marie, Alma, Lillian, Dora, Albertine and
Jeanne, as well as their many friends in Ellenton, Florida. In
addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Marie LeBlanc
in infancy and Genevieve Middleton.

and Palliative Care at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital
Centre.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to
9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honor Bernadette’s life
will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 11,
2016 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Reception
in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the
service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
(Ovarian Cancer Research) would be appreciated by the family. Online
