Barbara Irene Riley 1935-2016 At the Kings County Memorial Hospital on May 18, 2016 the passing of Barbara Irene Riley age 80 of, Cardigan occurred. Born in Cardigan July 27, 1935, she was the daughter of the late James and Irene (Hennessey) Rice. Barbara is survived by her loving daughters Donna Ann Barchuk and Carole Marion (Kevin) MacPhee; beloved grandchildren Michael and Jeremy Barchuk, Christina MacPhee, Heather-May Newman; great grandchildren Anton, Illyana Barchuk, Anna and Alec Crane; Sisters Ruth (Bernard) MacDonald, Mary Kennedy; brothers Norbert (Eileen) Rice, Raymond Rice. She was predeceased by son-in-law Michael Barchuk; sister Edith Campbell; brothers Russell, Cecil, Emmett, Peter, Hilary and Benedict. Resting at the All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan with visiting on Saturday May 21st from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, May 23rd at 10:30 am from All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
