Barbara Barnes
Barnes, Barbara Helen – age 85 of Dartmouth. Passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Dartmouth General with all of her son’s Love and Blessings. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Jim and Helen Brooks. Barbara was a proud housewife and a Master Seamstress, who loved her boys with a loving strong hand. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved to garden and have beautiful flowers all around. She loved the cottage and family get togethers. She was strong willed and determined. She loved us all. Barbara is survived by her sons, Bob (Donna), Mike (Pat), Patrick, Dan, Greg (Nina), Todd (Kim); nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A visitation to be held 12pm Wednesday, December 27th in Atlantic Funeral Homes, 771 Main Street Dartmouth with a graveside service to follow at 1pm in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
