Avis Marguerite Harris
1925-2016
Avis M. Harris of Harvey, York Co., NB passed away on September 7,
2016 at Hospice House Fredericton. Avis was born in 1925 at McAdam,
NB, a daughter of the late Ward and Emily (Kingston) Little.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Chessie (John), Brenda Little
(John), Carla McCulley (Joe), Barb Harris, Heidi Levert (André)
and Danny Harris (Norma); grandchildren, Tammy (Tony), David
(Shelley), Jody (Heather), Kayla (Larry), Michael (Leah), Jamie (Deb),
Amber (Jeff), Kelsey (Bruce), Daniel (Alex), Melyssa (Joseph), Brandon
(Johannah), Lindsay (Andrew) and Tristin (Jessica); great
grandchildren, Stacey (Dave), Justin (Sarah), Joey (Lara), Randy
(Jessie), Cameron , Benjamin, Jenna, Sarah, John (Shilee), Devon, Carl
(Kate), Jacob, Jackson, Joseph, Josiah, Victoria and Erika; great
great grandchildren, Brett, Emme, Lincoln, Hunter, Arielle, Mikaela
and Alexis; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carl
Harris; a great grandson Abraham Swan and two sisters, Jeannie Moffitt
and Lillian Thompson.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3,
Harvey Station, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral
service will be held at the funeral chapel on Saturday, September 10,
2016 at 2 pm with Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment at Harvey
Settlement Cemetery.
