Arthur Vautour
1929-2017
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Arthur Vautour 88, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in
Saint-Louis on Saturday September 30, 2017. Born in
Claire-Fontaine, he was the son of the late Jerry Vautour and late
Josephine (Daigle) Vautour. Before retiring, Arthur was employed at
the Kouchibouguac National Park for 25 years.
Arthur will be sadly missed by his four daughters,
Léda Maillet (late Victor) Réjean of Richibucto,
Noëlla Blanchard (Hilaire) of St. Charles, Yolande Vautour of
St. Louis, Murielle Richard (Michel) of St. Louis; eight sons, Yvon
(Corinne) of St. Louis, Léon (Rose-Mai) of St. Louis,
Rhéal of St. Louis, Adrien (Jeannine) of St. Louis, Conrad
(Laura) of Moose Jaw, SK, Eric (Carolyne) of St. Louis, Hilaire of St.
Louis, Lucien (Rachel) of St. Louis and very special to him his 17
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Arthur is also survived by one sister, Imelda (late Duncan),
(late Camille); one brother, Haze (Hazel); one sister-in-law, Mildred;
one brother-in-law, Aldred and many nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Mona (Doucet) Vautour; one
grandson, Aubré; son-in-law, Victor Maillet; two sisters,
Marianne, Bertha and five brothers, Tom (Della), Ange (Anna),
Alphée (Hilda), Sylvain and Hase (at a young
age).
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Thursday
at 3:30 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass
will be celebrated on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 5:30 pm, St. Louis
des Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be held in the St.
Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Claire-Fontaine.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto.
