Di CARLO, Antonio “Tony”—
Suddenly at home on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Tony Di Carlo, in his 87th year, was the beloved husband of the late Elisabetta (nee Staniscia) Di Carlo (November 14, 1987). He was the dear father of the late Alessio (June 17, 1984), Maria (Panfilo) Leombruni, Aurelio (Elizabeth Percy) Di Carlo and Veronica (Paul) DiLello. Tony was the loving Nonno of Livia, Joshua (Stephanie), Steven (Jenn), Alexxys, Lucas and Bronwyn and the proud Bisnonno of Gemma and Santino. He is survived by his sister Norina Vaini, by his sister-in-law Ersilia DiCarlo and by many nieces and nephews. Tony was predeceased by his siblings Assunta La Caprara, Giulietta D’Ortona and Domenico “Gabriele” Di Carlo.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Tony will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 2 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
