Annie Reid
1921-2017
The death of Annie Elmira Reid, age 96, of Belleisle Creek,
NB, occurred on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Kiwanis
Nursing Home. She was born on July 4, 1921, in Canaan Forks, NB, to
Annie (Alcorn) & Freeman Beach, and was the wife of the late
Alexander Reid.
Annie is survived by daughters: Ann Shurtliffe of Sussex, NB,
Marie (Bill) French of Belleisle Creek, NB, Phyllis (Lawrence) Nodwell
of Midland, NB; son: Roger (Margaret) Reid of Saint John NB; son in
law: Doug Gibson of Toronto, ON; sister-in-law: Jean Beach; and many
grandchildren, great-granchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as
well as, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sons:
George & Stanley, daughters: Lois Trimmer & Fern
Gibson, son-in-law: Howard Shurtliffe, sister: Marjorie Corey and
brother: Wilbur Beach.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road,
Norton, NB, where visitation will be held from 11:00 AM –
12:00 PM on Saturday, December 23, 2017, followed by the service at
12:00 PM.
Donations in memory of Annie may be made to the
Union Cemetery or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
