Obituary
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Anna Marie Brabbins announce her passing on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 94 years young.
Anna Marie was a woman of much grace and wisdom with unending devotion to family, friends and her faith. Her sharp mind, quick smile and thoughtful, gentle nature enriched the lives of all lucky enough to her world.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Don (Leslee), Darcy (Clarice), Wendy, Carol (Greg) Cameron and Colleeen (Peter) Cavanagh. She leaves a legacy of love in her 16 adoring grandchildren, Joshua (Cecilia), Emily, Anna, Jim (Jen), Maggie (Chris), Kelly (Rob), Matthew (Liz), John (Ashleigh), Ian (Jessie), Mark, David, Kate, Jamie, Leah, Mary, and Nicholas; as well as 4 great-grandchildren, Elise, Cameryn, Jude, and Jackson.
Anna Marie is also survived by her devoted sister, Kathleen Lauerman, sister-in-law, Joyce Brabbins and Cheryl Brabbins. She also leaves many nieces and nephews whose relationships she treasured.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, Bud (E.S.), in 2013, with whom she looked forward to being reunited, as well as many more who d her most full life.
We grieve the loss of our most precious matriarch, knowing the influence of her loving and engaging spirit is far reaching and will remain forever in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, officiated by Reverend Martin Carroll.
