Dugas, André Joseph – With heavy hearts the family announces the death of André Dugas at the age of 57 years. André passed away in the comfort of his home in Brethour Township, surrounded by his loving family following a brave battle with cancer on Friday, June 16, 2017
André was born July 8, 1959 at Haileybury to the late Sylvio Dugas and the late Anita Morin. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Chantal [Miron]; his children: Danita [Daren] Tracey of Earlton, Sylvie Dugas of Haileybury, Charelle [Scott] Shearing of Cobalt, Alexandre Dugas of New Liskeard, Mario Dugas of Haileybury and Alexis Dugas at home. Sadly missed by his siblings: Robert [Marielle] Dugas of Brethour Township, Michel [Christine] Dugas of Cobalt, Aline Dugas of Ottawa and Georgette Dugas of Sudbury.
The Dugas family will welcome friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, Monday, June 19, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 beginning at 9:30 am. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Holy Cross Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:00 am. Father Alexis O’Lenga officiating. Interment will follow at the Cobalt, Coleman Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Temiskaming Hospital CAT Scan Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
