Obituary for Amy Almassy
Amy Almassy (1932-2017), former owner of Pine Tree Motel, Eganville, passed away Sept 6, 2017 after a long illness. Beloved mother of Joseph Almassy (Fran Watson). She was predeceased by husbands Joseph Tanacs (1954) and Barna Almassy (1987). Amy will be missed by her friends and many relatives in Europe. The family would like to thank the staff at Bayshore Home Health for their loving care over the past few months. A private family service will be held at a later date. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Funeral Home, Eganville. In memory of Amy, those desiring may make a donation to the Arnprior & District Humane Society.
