The death occurred at the Community Hospital ,
O’Leary on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 of Allen Cooke of
Cape Wolfe, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Mary (Smallman). Born in
O’Leary on May 31, 1952, he was the son of the late Victor
and Abbie (Easter) Cooke.
Loving father to Gayle (Doug) Mallett, Piusville; Vicki
(Greg) Bridges, Springfield West; John Allen (Amanda) Cooke,
Stratford; Allie (Jeremy) Wallace, Cape Wolfe and Emily (Jeremy)
Arsenault, Alberton. Dear grandpa to Abigail, Anna and Alice Mallett;
Randy Gamble; Ruthie, Gracie, Becky Lee and Carly Bridges; Maria and
Jack Cooke; RJ Wallace; Riley and Lily Arsenault.
Allen is also survived by his sister Mary (Shelton) Barlow;
brother Floyd (Betty) Cook; and brothers and sisters in law Wallace
(Margaret Ann) Smallman, Norman (Mary) Smallman, Donnie (Janet)
Smallman, Calvin (Heather) Smallman, John (Faye) Smallman, Susan
(Keir) Easter, Stephen (Paula) Smallman, Myrna Bridges, Melvin (Jenny)
Smallman and Alton (Florence) Smallman.
Predeceased by his parents, mother and father in law Jack
& Allie Smallman, brother in law Lorne Smallman, nephews Colin
Bridges and Adrian Smallman.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with visitation on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m.
Funeral will be held on Sunday in the Chapel at 3:00p.m. Interment
will follow in Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery.
Family flowers ONLY and in memory of Allen, memorials to
funeral expense fund would be appreciated.
