Allan Rodney Ingraham
1944-2017
Ingraham, Allan Rodney, 73, of Antigonish and formerly of
Margaree passed away on October 23, 2017, in St. Martha’s Regional
Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Inverness, he was a son of the late Jeptha and
Margaret (McLeod) Ingraham.
Allan was a hairdresser for close to 40 years, first in
Margaree before opening Allan’s Beauty Salon in Baddeck. A loving
father and grandfather, he enjoyed music, cooking, playing cards, and
spending time with his family. Allan smiled with his eyes. He’ll
forever be remembered for his positive and inspirational attitude and
for looking classy.
He is survived by his children, Paul (Sandra Arsenault),
Shilo, Manitoba; Glenn (Victoria MacIsaac), Dartmouth; Allana (Greg)
Keizer, Antigonish; grandchildren, Brandon, Jordyn, Connor, Samuel,
Beth Ann, Robyn, and Iain; sister, Nancy (Bernie) Hawley, Cole
Harbour; and brother, Nelson, Margaree.
Predeceased by brothers, Stanley and Melvin.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October in
North East Margaree Senior Citizen
Hallfrom 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service
will be held Friday in Margaree Valley Baptist Church at 2:00pm with
Pastor Hugh Morrison presiding. Burial in the
church cemetery.
