RACE, Allan Kenneth O.N
Peacefully, with family by his side at The Carpenter Hospice on Monday, December 25, 2017 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Lesley Race (nee Turnbull). Loving father of Patricia Smith (Donald) and Colin Race (Patti Yik). Cherished grandfather of Annabel, Victoria and Calvin. Survived by his sister Carol Gemgembre (Michael) and sisters in law Sheena James and Catherine Day. Al was a shipping executive with Maersk for 24 years. He adored his family and friends and will be fondly remembered for his love of the outdoors, golf and model airplanes. He was twice warden of St. Luke’s Anglican Church and received the Order of Niagara. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at a later date.
