Allard, Alinda Marie Germaine – The family announces with sorrow her passing on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the age of 97 years. Mrs Allard passed away peacefully at Temiskaming Lodge – Haileybury.
Mrs Allard was born April 30, 1919 at Windsor Quebec. A lifelong resident of Cobalt, Mrs Allard had made her home at Temiskaming Lodge in recent years. She was loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. She enjoyed her last years at Temiskaming Lodge and took great pleasure playing bingo.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband Paul and sons Conrad and Rhéal. Sadly missed by her children: Jeannine Deforge [Paul] of Kirkland Lake, Pauline Allard of Kirkland Lake, Donald Allard of North Bay, André Allard [Raymonde] of Hilton Beach, Bernadette Bryan [Dale] of North Cobalt, Robert Allard [Suzanne] of Winnipeg, Carol Allen [Gérald Venne] of Haileybury and daughter-in-law Betty Allard of Haileybury. Fondly remembered by nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and her sister Claire Beaubien of New Liskeard.
The Allard family will welcome friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 and on Monday, February 20, 2017 beginning at 9:30am. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Holy Cross Catholic Church, Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00. Father Wayne MIlls officating. Spring interment will take place at the Cobalt Catholic Cemetery.
