Albertine « Tina » Gauvin
1937-2016
MONCTON – Tina Gauvin 79, of Moncton passed away
peacefully at the Villa du Repos on Friday, October 21,
2016. Born in Richibouctou-Village, she was the daughter of
the late Albert and late Margaret (Maillet)
Thibodeau.
Tina will be sadly missed by her daughter, Eveline Savoie
(Fernand) of Neguac; three sons, Danny Gauvin (Rae) of Moncton, Terry
Gauvin (Barbara) of Moncton, Gary Gauvin of Edmonton, Alberta; ten
grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one twin sister, Alberta
Maillet (Réne) of Richibouctou-Village; one brother, Eymard
Thibodeau (Fedilice) of Richibouctou-Village and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister,
Stella Fontaine and one daughter-in-law, Elaine
Gauvin.
Resting at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church
Slumber Room on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Monday at 9:00 am until
time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:00 am, St. Antoine de Padoue Roman
Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery. Donations in Tina’s memory may be made
to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements
are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto
(523-4252).
