Alban Christie
1929-2017
With celebration of a life well lived, we announce the
passing of Alban Christie, formerly of Basin Street, which occurred at
the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Sunday, December 17, 2017
at the age of 87.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late William
and Adelina (Chiasson) Christie.
Alban worked at Hatheway Ford for forty
years.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Yvette
(Boucher) Christie and is survived by a daughter Claudette
Duguay (Wesley) of Bathurst and one grandson, Brandon Duguay (Jenn),
two sisters, Mayda Wolfe (late Ron) of Saint John, NB and Lorraine
Doucet (late Ralph) of Bathurst.
Brothers, Leonard (late Marie), Raymond (late Freda),
Lawrence (Delima) and Emile (Nicole) all of
Bathurst.
He was predeceased by sisters, Dora, Albina, Anita and
Eva and brothers William Jr., Gilbert, Allie, Kenneth, Aurele and
Vincent.
There will be no visitation at the funeral
home.
Funeral service will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on
Thursday, December 21, 2017 from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com).
Donations in memory of Alban may be made to the Alzheimer’s
Society or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
