Obituary Al passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, with his daughter by his side, at the age of 70 years. Al will be lovingly remembered by his only daughter, Michelle (Michael) Kakoullis; his grandchildren, Alexander and Ava; sisters and brothers, Yvonne (Albert) Casavant, Irene (Louis) Villeneuve, Robert (Henriette) and Paul (Rose); sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Collette, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Al was predeceased by his wife, Eileen; his sister, Lea; his brothers, Marcel and Armand; his parents, Lucien and Edith. A Prayer Service will take place at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 – 114 St., Edmonton on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr.’s Belch, Piercey and Follett and especially all the nurses at the Cross Cancer on Stn. 40. Thank you for all the care, compassion and support – it will forever be remembered.
