Peacefully at Miarianhill Residence, Pembroke, surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday evening October 18, 2016 in her 93rd year. Agnes Desjardins (nee Yantha) of Pembroke beloved wife of the late Emile Desjardins. Cherished mother of Linda Clarke (Gary Barnes) Sault Ste. Marie, Wayne Desjardins (Joanne), Beachburg, Robert Desjardins, Lacombe AB, Jill Gervais, North Bay and Kathy Sylvestre (Gerald), Pembroke. Loving grandmother of ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Sister of Margaret MacFarlane (Rodney) and Ann Tennian (late McCabe) and predeceased by her brother Leonard Yantha (late Elvireen). Sister-in-law of Carmel Desjardins (late Maurice) and predeceased by sister-in-law Aline Laronde (late Bud). Agnes will be missed by all her nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Friends are invited to join Agnes’ family for a celebration of the Funeral Mass on Saturday October 22 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery.
