Joseph Jonas ‘Joe’ Stengler of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of Doreen, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at the age of 70 years. Vigil Prayers will be recited at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on January 7, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat on January 8, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Father Philip Le celebrant. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with a time of fellowship thereafter in the Parish Hall. Further announcements including the family information and biography will be published once confirmed.
The Vigil Prayer Service celebrating Joe’s life will be live streamed through Cook Southland’s website. Those who cannot attend but wish to be a part of the Prayers may choose to visit the Cook Southland Website on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. Click on the Watch Service In Progress Button located on the left side of the homepage next to the Families poem.
