Kevin Erle Sachs
1953-2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected
passing of Kevin Erle Sachs, 64, of
Springhill Junction, NS, on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Born in St.
Catherines, ON, he was a son of the late Jonathan and Doris
(MacCallum) Sachs.
Kevin was talented and active with his hands, including
having been a skilled mechanic and most recently his interests
included wood working. He loved music and was well known for his
singing. He was kind, generous and patient with his friends and family
and always made time to lend a helping hand. A devoted family man,
Kevin adored his children and grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 35 years, Shirley (nee
MacLean); his children, James MacLean, of Vancouver, Heather Sachs, of
Springhill Junction, and Nathan (Denise) Sachs, of Springhill;
grandchildren, Brandon, Jana and Jara Donkin, and their father,
Raymond Donkin, and Genevieve and Jesse Greer; brothers, Lynn,
Clarence and Steven; sisters Arla (James) Walsh, and Darlene (Rob)
Burton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter,
Michelle; brother, John; a sister, Sharon, and his mother-in-law,
Florence LeBlanc.
Arrangements are under the care and direction
of A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361) from where a funeral service will
be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2 pm.
Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the IWK or SIDS
Foundation of Canada.
