In Loving Memory of Margaret
Surrounded by the love of her family, Margaret passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alfred. Loving mother of Kathy (Gary Mandaric), Carol (the late Luis Fernandes), John (Lindsay), and Lisa (Lee Newell). Proud and devoted grandmother of Christina (Jon Whitaker), Alyssa, Samantha, Emily, and Shaelyn; great-grandmother of Dylan. She is survived by her dear sister Dorothy Bauer and by her brother Alan Oliver (Iona). Margaret will be sadly missed but forever remembered by many extended family and close friends here in Canada and in England.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial visitation on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403) Oakville from 12-1 p.m., followed by a Service in the Chapel to Celebrate Margaret’s Life at 1 p.m. Reception to follow in the Glen Oaks Lounge.
