Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Provincial
Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown of Charles “Charlie”
L. Currie of Charlottetown in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his
beloved wife of 63 years, Mary (Cavanagh). Father of Cheryl
Currie-Lodge (Malcolm), Ernie, Gary, Karen, Leslie (Pauline), Wade,
Chris and Lori (Darren). Grandfather of Shane, Jenine, Rodney, Steven,
Chase, Amanda, Tyler, Evan, Noah and Aaron. Great-grandfather of
Kayla, Keaton, Emily, Sarah, Mya and Lola. Brother of John (Norma).
Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Louise (Livingstone) Currie, his
siblings Frank, Nelson (Ila) and Walter (Mary). Resting at Belvedere
Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home
chapel on Wednesday at 10:30 am. Interment later in the Roman Catholic
Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care
Centre or Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I.
