Peacefully at Miramachi Lodge, Pembroke with her loving family by her side, on Wednesday December 13, 2017 in her 83rd year. Kay Roop (nee Lidget), of Petawawa, beloved wife of Jim Roop. Loved and cherished mother to June Campsall (Mike Reynolds), Peterborough, Carol Roop, Ottawa and Paul Roop, Petawawa. Loving grandmother of Mark Roop (fiancée Jessa Roldan). Dear sister of Shirley Dryden (Winston), John Lidget (Frances), Pat Brown (Elwin), Connie Wowchuk (late Dave) and Allen Lidget (Shirley). Predeceased by sister Lila Disney and brothers Les Lidget (late Gladyes) and Ernie Lidget. Sister-in-law of Marie Lidget. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to share their memories of Kay with her family during memorial visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Saturday December 23 2 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Miramichi Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated.
