John Michael Hargreaves
April 25, 1962 – December 8, 2017
It is with troubled hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly loved father, brother, son, uncle, friend, and Pa John.
Left to mourn are his mother Pat (Dennis), brother Mike (Abby), sister Debbie (Dwayne), and Candace. As well as the mother of his children, Caroline, his children Corey (Tracy), Mandi (Jared) and beautiful grandchildren Seth, Jaxon, and Tenley. John was predeceased by his father Glen Hargreaves.
John grew up and lived in West Kildonan until moving with his family to St. Andrews in 1993. John was remembered as the funny, swear word loving, black ice drinking, chain smoking, big kid he was. All jokes aside, he was an amazing handyman, kind hearted, caring man that loved everyone. He wore the name Pa John proud and proved it every day by being a playful, encouraging, fun grandpa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St. Selkirk on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
