It is with great sadness that the family of the late Calvin Blandford, age 90 years, fomerly of Merritt`s Hr., NL announce his passing at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
He is predeceased by his wife Stella, parents Phillip & Leah, brother Max and brother-in-law Lloyd.
Left with fond and loving memory are his sons Donald (Patsy), Wayne, Bruce (Diane), Roy, daughters Eileen (Arthur), Daphne (Percy), Betty (Michael), Judy (Ken), sister Margaret Jennings, a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, his brothers in the Loyal Orange Lodge as well as a circle of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL. Funeral service will take place from the New World Island East Central United Church, Newville, NL on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Paula Gale officiating.
Donations in Calvin`s memory may be given to New World Island East Central United Church Parking Lot Fund.
