Margaret Conway Moore
Founder with husband Bill of BilMar Ranch, Shady Nook
Peacefully at Marianhill Palliative Unit, with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday the 5th of December, 2017 at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Philip and Wilhelmina (nee Conway) Tolton, Stratford. Beloved wife of the late William D. (Bill) Moore (1986). Bill and Margaret founded and operated the BilMar Ranch at Shady Nook until 1983. Margaret’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of her children, Nancy (late John) Hargreaves, Westmeath, Peggy (James) Edwards , Pembroke and Thomas Wm. ( Jack Pelletier) Moore, Kanata, her grandchildren Pamela (Allen) Given, Bill (Angela St. Jean) Hargreaves, Matthew (Kait Alkema) Edwards, Kaylee (Andrew) Jobin and great- grandchildren Caleb Given, Eva and Jackson Hargreaves and Flinn Jobin who loved their “Grams”, “G-Ma” and “GG” with all their hearts. Predeceased by brothers Ronald (late Kay) Tolton, Keith (late Jean) Tolton, sister, Eileen (late John) Van Meer and sister-in-law Marjory (Moore) (late Jack) Ford. Sister-in-law of Mary Tolton (late Keith). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street on Monday December 11 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m., followed by a Reception. A Private interment will take place in Douglas Public Cemetery at a later date. No flowers please (Allergies), however as an expression of sympathy, Margaret would have appreciated donations in her memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation or Calvin United Church Choir Fund.
