Mr. Douglas Wayne Greenough – Roberta Nova Scotia
With heavy hearts but loving memories we announce the passing of Douglas Greenough on Friday December 1, 2017 at the age of 70 with his family by his side.
Born in Windsor on August 10, 1947 he was a son of the late Alton “Jack” and Evelyn (Whalen) Greenough.
Doug worked for Irving Tissue with over 40 years of service, where he met his wife Sandra.
After retirement they built their retirement home in Roberta, Cape Breton; Doug enjoyed clearing their lot with his four-wheeler and planting a garden with Sandra, even though the deer helped themselves. He loved music and driving his motorcycle on the open highway with his friends.
Doug is survived by his wife Sandra, daughters Sheri, Tammy, and Connie, so Mark, sisters Brenda and Shelley, brothers Harry and Stephen , Doug will be missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren .
The Greenough Family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Phillip Cooper and the Palliative Care Nurses.
Cremation has taken place; Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 7, 2017 at 2pm from St. Peters United Church, St. Peters with Rev. Victor and Rev. Carolyn MacLeod presiding, burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, St. Peters.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Green’s Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
