Donald Young
1944-2017
Donald Young, 73, Villa Providence and formerly of Halifax,
NS, passed away in Shediac on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Born in
Halifax, NS; he was the son of the late Jack and Ella Young and he was
also predeceased by an infant son Donald Francis Young. Don was a
former bus driver and maintenance worker with Halifax
Transit.
A devoted Catholic and faithfully praying to our Blessed
Mother, he was a member of St. Bernard’s Parish, Moncton. He is now
gone home to be with his Lord. Don was a 4th Degree member of the
Knights of Columbus, St. Augustine Council 1310.
Survived by his children David and Darlene, he will be sadly
missed by many good friends including Francis & Debbie
McCarron and by his very special friend Geneva
Boudreau.
Resting at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home,
214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview with visitation on Wednesday, December 6,
2017 from 6pm to 8pm.
The Funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Church,
Botsford St. Moncton, on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 9:30
am with Father Allison Carroll officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery,
Dieppe in the spring.
Donations in Donald’s memory can be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
A special thank you to the Doctors, nurses and workers of
Villa Providence in Shediac, your kindness, care and understanding was
greatly appreciated.
