Margaret « Peggy » Myers
1947-2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Peggy
Elizabeth Myers, cherished wife of Hank Myers,
announce her peaceful passing, which occurred at Bobby’s
Hospice on Monday, November 6, 2017. Born in Saint John on October 20,
1947, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Effie
(Martin) Laird.
Peggy was known to all as a very compassionate and loving
person. Her greatest passion was to be able to help and look after
everybody. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph’s
Hospital, Centra Care and her church. She will be greatly missed by
her friends and family.
In addition to Hank, Peggy is survived by her two daughters,
Darlene Myers (Norman Adams) of Grand Bay-Westfield and Christa Myers
(Marc Spinney) of Alberta; sisters, Nancy Lee Martin and Bonnie Jane
Martin; brothers, George Douglas Martin and Paul Laird;
grand-daughter, Kayla Howe (Jarrett Fitzpatrick) and her niece, Tammy
Martin (Wayne Spray) who was like a daughter to her. Besides her
parents, Peggy was also predeceased by her brothers, William Martin
and Thomas Martin.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Bayview Funeral
Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John,
NB (634-7425). Although there will be no visiting, there will be a
Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Assumption
Church, 360 Dufferin Row, Saint John, NB on Thursday, November 9, 2017
at 10:00AM. Interment will take place at Holy Cross
Cemetery.

Bobby’s Hospice.
