After living most of her life in Westville, Ann passed away at Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow NS on Monday Oct 30, 2017, at the age of 68.
Ann spent many years working at Zellers, then went on to a few different jobs after going back to school for secretarial studies. She had a love for baking and was well known for her homemade breads. In her later years, she continued her love of crossword puzzles, and reading; always on the hunt for a good Western novel.
Ann is the daughter of the late John and Loretta (Campbell) Green.
Survived by daughter Debbie (Jason), Innisfail Ab; son Jonathan, St John NB; stepsons Robert, Fraser and Scott, all of Alberta; stepdaughter Cheryl, Stellarton NS.
Also survived by brothers John (Rose), Windsor ON; Bernard (Diane), Richmond BC; Thom (Roxanne), Halifax NS; as well as several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband Robert in 1991, son William in infancy, brothers Leslie, Stephen and Joseph; sisters Margaret « Peggy », Florence and Loretta.
Cremation will take place. No visitation by request. Interment of ashes will be held at a private graveside service at a later date at the Holy Name Cemetery, Westville.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Pictou County Food Bank or the Christmas Daddies Telethon. Please do a random act of kindness to share her smile and brighten someone’s day.
