Roena Marguerite Burtt
1937-2017
Roena M. Burtt of Zealand, NB passed away on November 4, 2017 at the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was born at Zealand, NB, a daughter
of the late Jesse and Annie (Morehouse) Brewer. She was a faithful
member of the United Pentecostal Church for over sixty years. Roena
enjoyed quilting, knitting, puzzle books and loved her family.
She is survived by her children; Annette Carr (Ronnie), Sarah Doherty
(Jim), Leroy (Skip) Burtt (Kathy), Dale Burtt (Deanna), Valerie
Brewer (Carson), Lebaron (Wess) Burtt (Lois), and Suzanne Haines
(Brian); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings,
Chester Brewer (Marilyn), Grace Stafford (Dale), Lorna Wright (Bob),
Evangeline Webb (Alden) and Hope Rutt (Dave); sister-in-law, Emma
Hanson (Merlin); her canine companion “Flash” and several
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Roena was predeceased by her husband
Charles, grandson, Trent Haines, a brother Richard Brewer and infant
sister, Laverne.
Visitation will be held at Zealand United Pentecostal Church, 2016
Route 104, Zealand, NB on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, 2-4 pm and 7-9
pm. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2 pm with
Rev. Fred Wickett and Rev. Donald McCarty. Interment will take place
in Zealand Community Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Leroy Burtt, Wess Burtt, Troy Doherty,
Corey Burtt, Wayne Fox, Jesse Burtt, Harvey Burtt and Jordon Haines.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

family has suggested the Zealand Community Cemetery or IWK.
