Obituary of Maureen Beckstead
Maureen Daisy (Gray) Beckstead age 77 years, passed away at St. Lawrence Lodge on Wednesday November 1, 2017.
She was the loving mother of Dale Beckstead (Sophie) and Judy Hunt (Steve). Cherished grandmother of Alec, Tyler, and Kelsey Beckstead, Katie Hunt and Mitchell Brooks.
Maureen is survived by her brothers, Gary Gray (Faye), Donny Gray and Ronald Gray(Judy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Tammy, Paul, Tanya, and David. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Grace (Bishop) Gray her sister Darlene Mallette, brother Paul Gray and sister-in- law Brenda Gray.
The Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated at St. Barnaby’s Catholic Church, Brewers Mills on Saturday November 11, 2017 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at St. Barnaby’s Cemetery. A Celebration of Maureen’s Life will follow at Judy’s home 1300 County Road 2, RR#2 Mallorytown from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In memory of Maureen, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Brockville and District Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
