Ronald Neil Hansen
1948-2017
Ron Hansen of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital
on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Born in Cape Traverse, P.E.I., he was
the son of the late Jens and Bertha (MacLeod) Hansen. Ron had been
formerly employed with Canada Bread as a merchandiser and was an avid
Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Roxanne
(Merrill); sons Kevin (Charlene) of Riverview, Richard of Moncton;
step-son Joseph Estey (Karen) of Moncton; a step-daughter Nicole
Watson (Dave) of Halifax, N.S.; grandchildren Jacob, Ethan, Rory and
Matthew; sisters Tina Macina of Pickering, O.N., Norma Muttart of
Summerside, P.E.I., Lyla Durette of Bramalea, O.N.; a brother, Roy
Irving of Barrie, O.N.; the mother of his sons, Simone Hansen; as well
as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by brothers George, Sonny and Wilfred Irving.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
(869-2007) on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
