Herculine Allain-Richard
1915-2017
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Herculine Allain-Richard,
102, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria
on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017.
Born in St-Charles, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and
Henriette (Savoie) Allain. Herculine worked many years as a house
keeper for the St-Louis-de-Gonzague rectory and also cleaned other
houses as well.
Herculine will be sadly missed by her eight step daughters,
Irene Richard of St-Charles, Emerise Robichaud (late Eloi) of
St-Charles, Maria Blanchard (Albert) of St-Charles, Imelda Babineau
(Luc) of St-Ignace, Eva Daigle (late Eloi) of St-Louis, Rita Hebert
(Joseph) of St-Charles, Cecilia Daigle (Joseph) of St-Louis and Janice
Richard (Ronaldo) of Moncton; six step sons, Andre Richard (Alida) of
Sussex, Francis Richard of St-Charles, Robert Richard (Gloria) of
Campbellton, Vincent Richard (Linda) of St-Charles, Arsene Richard of
St-Charles and Antoine Richard of St-Charles; as well as by several
generations of step grandchildren and many nieces and
nephews.
Last surviving member of her family, Herculine is predeceased
by her parents; her husband Fidele; two step-sons, Louis Richard
(Sylvia) and Paul Richard; six sisters, Alice Chevarie (Jos), Alma
Babineau (Marcel), Pauline Comeau (Adolphe), Marie Comeau (Francois),
Yvonnice Johnson (Narcisse) and Lorenza Allain; and her five brothers,
Livain Allain (Domithilde), Alyre Allain (Marcelline), Edgar Allain
(Rose-Anne), Antoine Allain (Ida) et Joachim Allain
(Aurore).
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm and Saturday from
9:00am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 at
11:30am, St-Louis-de-Gonzague Roman Catholic Church,
Richibucto.
