Karol Drago Campa passed away peacefully on August 22nd, 2017. He was born in Betonovo, Slovanija on October 25th, 1938 and came to Vancouver with his wife Milka and son, Drago in 1973. Soon after he started working for the City of Vancouver (Engineering Dept.) and remained there for 25 years until his retirement. Karol (Drago) survived by his beloved wife, Milka of 52 years, Son Drago (Lauren Marie) and brother Frank (Majda & family).
He will be greatly missed and remembered in our hearts by many. Drago was a devoted Slovenian and he’ll be very much missed by many Slovenian Society Members, and many more. Prayers and viewing will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30th at St. Augustine’s Parish, 2015 W. 8th Ave., Vancouver, B.C. A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on August 31st at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. Reception will he held at the Slovenian Society, 5762 Sprott St., Burnaby, B.C. following interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations greatly appreciated to the Parkinson’s Society of B.C.
