Joseph Russell Sock
1961-2017
ELSIPOGTOG, NB –
Joseph Russell Sock, 56, of Elsipogtog passed away peacefully at the
Moncton Hospital after a brief illness on Tuesday, August
15th, 2017. Born in Rexton, he was
the son of the late John Noel and Elizabeth (Clare)
Sock.
Russell will be sadly missed by his godson, Andy
Joseph; six sisters, Anita Joseph (Peter), Ava Sock, Gloria Augustine,
Sally Peter Paul (late Patrick), Sylvia Milliea (Anthony) and Velma
Clair (adopted); seven brothers, Stanley Sock (late Shirley),
Jacob Sock (Geraldine), Harold Sock (Diane), Thomas Clair (adopted),
Ronald Sock (Sheila), Simon Joe Sock (Rose), James Sock (Gwen); as
well as by many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Russell is predeceased by two
sisters, Madeline Augustine (late Frank) and Janie Sock; as well as by
three brothers, Howard Sock, Fred Noel Sock and Jesse
Sock.
Visitation will be held at 398
Graham Road, Elsipogtog beginning Thursday at 2:00pm until departure
for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August
19th, 2017 at noon, St.
Anne’s Roman Catholic Church,
Elsipogtog.
