At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2017 of Mary
Alice Curtis (Griffin), Charlottetown formerly of Emyvale, age 77
years. Dear mother of Stephen Charles Everett whose birth name was
James Charles Griffin (Kristin), Kevin Lawrence Curtis (Tracey) and
Charles Edward Curtis (Helene). Loving step-mother of Wayne Beaton
and Richard Beaton. Remembered with love by her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Sister of Loyola (Shirley, deceased), Kevin
(Diane), Gerard (Linda), Thelma Gallant (Edward), Charles (Linda),
Joseph (Sharon), Dolores (Bob) and Rita Stanley (Garth).
Sister-in-law of Curtis Beaton. Predeceased by her partner Ray
Beaton, parents James and Margaret (McAvoy) Griffin and by her sister
Rose.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to
attend a graveside service at Midgell Cemetery on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
No visitation by request. Memorial donations may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society PEI.
