It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving Wife , |Mother , Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Friend «Joan» Barbara Young. As her sudden passing on Aug,17 2017 in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Hospital.
Joan will be remembered for her Pioneering 68 year residency of Terrace Bay. Where she met and married her Husband and best friend of 57 yrs Wayne Young and raised their two children.
Lovingly remembered by her husband Wayne Young, son Don Young and wife Laura-Lea, daughter Karen Young and partner Scott. Grand children – Valerie and partner Brandon , Sarah and husband Josh, Adam and partner Breanne, Hailey and husband Andrew, Jannessa , Laura and husband Robert , Kristen and partner Matt. Great grandchildren – Logan-Lee, Taylor, Meadow, Wesley, Charlotte, Skyler, Noah, Ryann, Jack. Sister Donna Kleiman husband Jerry and family, brother Richard Brearley partner Donna and family. As well as numerous other family and friends. With as special mention of her long time friends Phyllis and Theresa. Predeceased by parents Don and Grace Brearley
A celebration of Life will be held at the Community Church in Terrace Bay on Aug 25, 2017 at approximately 1pm. With Mae Caldwell presiding. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers , donations to the Lung Association , Heart and Stroke or Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
