Edgar Hebert Sr.
1936-2017
ST. IGNACE, NB – Edgar Hebert Sr. 81, of St. Ignace
passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent
on Monday, July 10, 2017. Born in Acadieville, he was the
son of the late Joseph Hebert and late Arthemise (LeBlanc)
Hebert. Before retiring, Edgar was employed as a mason and
carpenter. He loved music, playing harmonica and the
outdoors. He was a very social person that loved to laugh and joke
with family and friends.
Edgar will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Dina
(Robichaud) Hebert of St. Ignace; two daughters, Ginette Day (Curley)
of Colorado, Joanne Hudlin (John) of Townsend, MASS; two sons, Paul
Hebert (Sharon Mattison) of Pepperell, MASS, Edgar Hebert Jr. (Laurin)
of Dover, NH; nine grandchildren, Bryan, Serena, Alicia, Jordan,
Mitchell, Jessica, Timothy, Grace and Riley; and one great grandchild,
Reece.
He is also survived by five sisters, Edith Robichaud (late
Doris) of Waltham, MASS, Lucie Richard (Laurie) of Moncton, Rita
Richard (late Edmond) of St. Louis, Thérèse
Daigle (Leo) of St. Louis, Elva Richard (Emile) of St. Louis and many
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter,
Linda; one grandson, Christopher and two brothers, Aurele and
Elvery.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Monday from 2:00 pm until time of the
funeral. A celebration of Edgar’s life will be
held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 4:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral
Home Chapel, Richibucto.
