Gailene Jody Korotash
On Thursday, June 15, 2017, Gailene passed away at the age of 66 years.
She was born in Calgary on August 10, 1951 to Arthur and Gweneth White. The family relocated to Winnipeg in 1965 where she attended school and graduated from Silver Heights High School.
Gailene started her career shortly after high school with Transair as a stewardess and was employed with them until retirement.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Matthew and her twin sister Lesley (Joe). She also leaves numerous relatives and friends.
She loved all animals, especially her four legged friends, Tracker, Haley and Tammy.
Gailene was very selfless and willing to help out wherever she was needed. She was also very trustworthy, loyal and did all to the best of her ability.
A Celebration of Gailene’s life will be held on Friday, June 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Andrew’s Woodhaven Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Ave. in Winnipeg.
