We are very sad to announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather at the Lakeshore General Hospital. He was ‘Pappy’ to all and was happiest when he was spending time with his large, noisy family. He had a beautiful smile, loved to laugh and made us smile and laugh. He played, watched and listened to any and all sports. He grew up in Lachine during a simpler time and we had the good fortune to listen to many amusing stories about his days in the ‘park’. We have lost one of the good ones and will love and remember him forever. Predeceased by his wife and our mother Margaret in 2008, he leaves to mourn his children, Ted (Kathy), Teresa (Dave), Laurie (Richard), Danny (Claudette), Jackie, Jeannie (Andy) and grandchildren, Teddy (Nancy), Kerry-Lynn, Charlotte (Justin), Lindsay (Collin), Joy (Hammoud), Emily (Andrew), Michelle (Matthew), Christine (Peter), Gary (Jennie), Yannic, Jennifer, J J (Juli), and Rhys, great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Eleanor and Chloe. Special thanks for the extraordinary care given by the nurses, orderlies and doctors on 3rd floor north Lakeshore General Hospital and the staff at ALPS residence Beaconsfield.
